Transgender Boyfriend of Alleged Assassin Fleeing Utah Apartment
ST. GEORGE, Utah – Lance Twiggs, the live-in boyfriend of a person accused of murdering Charlie Kirk, seems to have left their shared townhouse in Utah. There’s quite a bit of criticism directed at him for not reporting the incident after he allegedly confessed via text message.
Twiggs, who is 22, supposedly departed from his partner Tyler Robinson, also 22, shortly after a speaking event on September 10. Mail has piled up outside their $1,800-a-month home, raising concerns for his safety amid the public outcry.
Jesse Riley, a nearby resident, mentioned he hadn’t noticed any recent activity in the apartment. “It’s shocking. This area is usually so quiet. I know my neighbors, but these folks kept to themselves,” he expressed.
Riley added, “I’ve never seen anyone around. The notes on the door indicate no one’s been there for a while.”
Washington County Sheriff Nate Brooksby previously stated that Twiggs was in a “safe space very far from St. George” and might need to remain there for an extended period.
While Twiggs hasn’t been charged regarding Kirk’s shooting, his connection to the situation is being closely examined, especially since he appeared to communicate with Robinson just after the event.
Robinson allegedly left a note for Twiggs under a keyboard, instructing him to find it post-shooting. The supposed assassin’s text to Twiggs confessed to the murder, eliciting a response filled with skepticism as Twiggs tried to make sense of the events.
Twiggs, a transgender woman, has been characterized as the “black sheep” of her family, and reports suggest that there was no known prior relationship with Robinson.
Robinson is accused of fatally shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk during his speech on September 10. According to family members, Twiggs was expelled from home in 2018. They also claimed Twiggs had been heavily involved in video games and exhibited concerning behaviors over substance use.
Before moving in with college roommates, Twiggs lived with her grandparents. Following their graduation, Robinson joined Twiggs in their apartment. Twiggs had shown support for former President Joe Biden in 2022 and had humorously referenced being targeted by various mental health issues, including schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.
