Gunman Joshua Jahn's vehicle displayed a strange map indicating radioactive fallout across the US.

Investigators in Dallas have located what they think is the vehicle used by Joshua Yarn, the shooter in an anti-ICE incident. The blue Toyota Corolla contained a map showing radioactive fallout across the U.S., with a text stating, “Radioactive Fallout from a Nuclear Explosion has passed through these regions more than twice as many times since 1951,” affixed to the right rear quarter panel.

This map was likely based on research by Richard Miller, illustrating areas affected by radioactive clouds from nuclear tests in Nevada between 1951 and 1962.

On Wednesday morning, Yarn opened fire from a rooftop at the Dallas ICE Office, targeting a van with detainees awaiting processing. Tragically, this attack resulted in the deaths of at least two migrants and injured another individual before Yarn took his own life. Nearby, authorities found a bullet casing with the inscription “anti-ice.”

Details about the shooting at the Dallas ICE Facility

  • On September 24, 29-year-old Joshua Yarn fired shots at a detention facility in Dallas, Texas.
  • It’s reported that the violence occurred while detainees were being transferred and portcariers were entering the facility.
  • Authorities confirmed two fatalities and one injury. Yarn was later discovered dead on a rooftop from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
  • The FBI noted that the word “Anti-Ice” was written on the bullet found at the scene.
  • Investigators are treating this incident as a targeted act of violence, according to Jo Roth Lock from the FBI’s Dallas Field Office.

Officials clarified that the deceased were immigration detainees and confirmed no law enforcement personnel were harmed. Police reported that Yarn, positioned on the roof of a nearby building, targeted an unmarked vehicle transporting migrants to the short-term ICE facility.

As the officers approached, Yarn reportedly aimed at them. The “anti-ice” message was found on a bullet casing near his body, revealing his motive.
