Aging Rocker Bruce Springsteen Critiques Trump Again

Bruce Springsteen, the legendary musician, has been vocal about wanting President Donald Trump to be removed from office. During Trump’s first term, Democrats attempted to initiate impeachment proceedings twice, though neither effort succeeded. There were also sporadic attempts from various Democrats, like Michigan’s Sri Taneder, who found little support for his initiatives during a notable attempt in April. Meanwhile, Texas Democrat Al Greene has made a habit of submitting such proposals every couple of weeks.

Regardless of the numerous submissions, Springsteen believes the Democratic Party lacks the resolve to push for further impeachment measures. In an interview with Time magazine, he drew a parallel between Trump and the 25th Amendment, suggesting that if Congress had the courage, Trump would be relegated to the “garbage pile of history.”

Springsteen conveyed his frustrations with the current state of the Democratic Party, saying, “We desperately need an effective alternative party or someone who can actually connect with the majority of the country.” He pointed out that there are issues with the way Democrats communicate and engage with people.

Interestingly, he mentioned that when the magazine brought up Trump’s comments about him, he “didn’t care” about Trump’s opinion. Trump, for his part, has not held back in expressing his disdain for Springsteen, calling him “very overrated” and making other derogatory remarks back in May.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump criticized Springsteen more harshly, stating, “He never liked his music or radical left politics… Important to note, he’s not a talented man.” He went on to mock Springsteen further, implying that without Trump’s election, Springsteen’s relevance would have faded. According to Trump, “This dry ‘pruning’ in the locker requires him to keep his mouth shut until he returns to the countryside.”
