California Man Accused of Shooting at ABC Station
A man from California, Anibal Hernandez Santana, age 63, has been charged with shooting at an ABC affiliate station, KXTV/ABC 10, in Sacramento. This incident occurred on September 19, where Santana allegedly used a handgun and, according to reports, had noted in his car that FBI Director Kash Patel and others from the Trump administration were “next.”
Details of the Incident
The charges stem from an event where, according to federal complaints, Santana fired shots at the ABC 10 building. This caused the cancellation of a press conference that was supposed to take place. Surveillance footage helped police identify his vehicle, a white Nissan. He has been charged with several offenses, including discharging a firearm in a school zone, as the shooting occurred near a local high school and an elementary school.
Witnesses noted Santana’s appearance at the time of the shooting; he was wearing a gray T-shirt, dark pants, and was carrying a satchel. Interestingly, just days before the incident, he had been spotted near the same elementary school, acting oddly and asking if students could read. This raised concerns among staff at the school, who described him as “strange” and “uneasy.”

Later that night, authorities arrested Santana at his apartment. Inside, they found a dark satchel similar to the one he carried during the shooting, along with a 9mm handgun.
