City Councilman Sparks Controversy

Fort Worth City Council member Elizabeth Beck drew criticism after sharing a mocking post about Charlie Kirk’s death on Instagram. His actions were called out by Alex Stein, a host from BlazeTV, who utilized his girlfriend, Page, to highlight Beck’s inappropriate behavior.

Following Kirk’s assassination, Beck posted a story that seemed to taunt the founder of Turning Point USA, which some interpreted as a call for a second amendment revision.

Page, along with many Texans, expressed her displeasure at the councilman’s actions during a city council meeting. “Hi, I’m Page,” she said. “Honestly, it feels futile to try and reason with people who seem completely devoid of conscience.”

She continued, emphasizing that the council members responsible for the mocking should face public shame, stating that this disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. “Social media lets us see the true nature of some individuals,” she added.

Page criticized the leftists who, in her view, expose their true feelings online regarding those with whom they disagree. Beck had filmed her Instagram post soon after the news of Kirk’s death was announced.

Moreover, Page pointed out that Beck had previously made controversial remarks, like blaming a victim’s tragic situation on their identity, saying, “If you were killed by a transgender individual or someone struggling with mental illness, you deserved it.”

But Page didn’t stop there. She also called out Beck for allegedly making disparaging comments about a volleyball coach, even suggesting that Beck used harsh language when her daughter was denied a spot on the team after missing tryouts. “Are you beginning to see how they operate?” she asked, noting how individuals on the left often resort to name-calling, labeling others as racist or prejudiced when things don’t go their way.
