Baltimore’s Struggles Continue
Things aren’t looking great in Baltimore right now.
During a tough game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Lamar Jackson had to leave the field due to what he called a hamstring injury.
“There’s no update on how serious it is,” said Harbaugh after the Ravens suffered a 37-20 defeat. He expressed concern over multiple injuries impacting key players, noting, “It doesn’t seem like the season is lost.”
Jackson appeared visibly frustrated on the sidelines. When asked if he could have re-entered the game had the outcome been different, Harbaugh seemed uncertain about that possibility.
“Right now, there’s really no answer,” he added.
The Ravens are dealing with a significant injury crisis, finding themselves at a record of 1-3 for the first time since 2015. Notably, linebacker Roquan Smith was also sidelined with a hamstring issue.
The team is now anxiously awaiting updates on their injured players, particularly Jackson. His status is something they’re monitoring closely.
“The injury situation is a real concern for us,” Derrick Henry commented after the game. “We hope everyone can get healthy so we can regroup. It’s tough to see someone struggle.”
As reported by the Baltimore Sun, Harbaugh remained in the locker room behind closed doors long after the game, indicating a serious discussion with the team.
Jackson was reportedly receiving treatment for his injury following the game. Baltimore will look to bounce back when they host the Texans next week in a matchup featuring two 1-3 teams.
