Across the nation, liberal pregnant women are sharing videos of themselves taking pain relief medication after President Trump revealed that a study from Harvard might suggest risks to fetal health associated with such drugs.
Former President Barack Obama has responded to this announcement.
He noted, “We have my predecessor in the Oval Office making unsubstantiated claims about various drugs and their links to autism, claims that have been debunked repeatedly. This affects public health and, consequently, pregnant women.”
In a somewhat sarcastic manner, Obama mentioned, “I’d like to see Trump argue against the advice that pregnant women shouldn’t consume alcohol,” as he criticized Trump’s remarks on medication.
He continued, “For parents with children on the autism spectrum, there’s a lot of misinformation out there. The apparent rise in cases isn’t merely a crisis but reflects how the standards are expanding to provide necessary services.”
“It’s a real distortion of the truth,” he added, despite previously reported concerns about the safety of certain medications for pregnant women.
A Canadian reporter had said back in October 2020, “Medical health experts issued a crucial warning regarding pregnancy and the use of painkillers. This was shared in a UK scientific journal.”
She went on to explain, “The warning cautions pregnant women about taking acetaminophen, which is an ingredient in Tylenol and many other common pain relievers.”
“This statement is backed by nearly a hundred scientists and medical professionals worldwide. They argue that pregnant individuals require careful consideration when using pain and fever-relief medications, including acetaminophen. There’s no recent evidence definitively linking these drugs to harm,” she stated.
However, she added that ongoing research might indicate potential changes in fetal development that could heighten risks related to certain developmental, reproductive, and genital issues.
In disbelief, Gray remarked, “Can you believe this? Have you ever heard of such a thing? It’s violence against the truth!”
