Charges Dropped Against Pro-Life Advocate Following Interview Incident
In a recent turn of events, Savannah Craven Antao, a pro-life advocate known for her YouTube channel “Her Patriot Voice,” faced an aggressive confrontation with Brianna Rivers. New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg has decided to drop all charges against Rivers.
During a street interview, Antao posed some straightforward inquiries about Rivers’ views on abortion. Rivers, initially answering, suggested that if a woman didn’t want a child, she should simply “get rid of it.”
Antao pressed further, asking what actually happens during an abortion. Rivers replied, “They literally suck life out of you. They take the whole baby out. And I shouldn’t be forced to pay for child support or food stamps for those women,” indicating her disdain for taxpayers covering those expenses.
Antao then questioned whether taxpayers should bear the costs of abortions. Rivers argued that paying for the choice of a woman who didn’t want to be a mother in the first place didn’t make sense. Rivers asserted that a father who opted out shouldn’t lead to punitive measures against her.
In a heated exchange, Antao countered that it’s not justifiable to end a life because of one’s choices. Rivers insisted otherwise, leading to more back-and-forth. As emotions escalated, Rivers ultimately struck Antao.
Following the incident, Antao incurred $3,000 in medical expenses as well as needing stitches, while Rivers faced charges for the assault. However, these charges were dropped, which drew criticism. Gonzalez, a host at BlazeTV, expressed frustration over the situation, suggesting that the office’s failure to meet crucial filing deadlines resulted in a lack of accountability for violent offenders.
