Paris Jackson and Janet Jackson Reunite at Fashion Week

During Paris Fashion Week, Paris Jackson shared a heartfelt moment with her aunt, Janet Jackson, as they embraced at the Tom Ford fashion show on Wednesday.

The two seemed to enjoy a friendly conversation before their hug, which is notable given the long-standing rumors about tension between them.

Both women appeared genuinely happy to reconnect, and Janet laughed warmly during their encounter.

Paris, 27, who is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, wore an eye-catching black high-neck gown with thigh-high slits, paired with matching stilettos for the occasion.

Janet, 59, complemented her look with a striking gold hoop earring and an all-black outfit, including a peplum top and long skirt. At one point, she was seen with a black leather jacket casually draped over her shoulder.

Neither Paris nor Janet have commented yet on their reunion.

Talk of a possible rift between them has circulated since Michael Jackson’s passing in 2009, which intensified in 2018 when Paris missed Janet’s Billboard Music Icon Award induction.

In a public statement, Paris addressed these issues, stating, “Dear social media followers, friends, stalkers, lovers, hatred, fellow Moonwalker: Don’t tell me how I handle relationships with people in my life, especially my family. I always love and respect my family. Always.”

She further explained that all families have their complexities, noting, “Our drama is broadcast all over the world through the media. But that doesn’t mean that our family matters are different from yours. Ours is public.”

This isn’t the first time the pair has reunited; they also shared a moment together during Paris Fashion Week in 2022. After last year’s gathering, Janet posted a photo on Instagram showing them happily together, captioning it, “A very good catch-up with my beautiful niece @parisjackson💖💖💖.”
