Trump’s GRAND STRATEGY for a shutdown signals TROUBLE for Democrats

Government Shutdown: Trump Addresses Funding Issues

As the government shutdown commenced, President Trump made it clear that he wouldn’t give in to Democratic demands for funding healthcare for undocumented immigrants. He also pointed out that Democrats are wrestling with significant challenges.

“The Democrats want this shutdown. When you shut things down, layoffs are necessary. So, we’re going to have to let quite a few people go, and that’s just how it is with them,” Trump stated.

“I mean, no country can realistically foot the bill for healthcare for every illegal immigrant. That’s what they’re proposing, and I can’t accept that as part of my duty,” he added.

Trump expressed a belief that the shutdown could open doors to getting rid of unwanted programs. “There’s a chance to cut out a lot of things we don’t need, courtesy of the Democrats,” he remarked.

During this situation, Jill Savage, a host on BlazeTV, claimed that behind the scenes, things might be going rather well compared to others in Washington, D.C.

Russell, from the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, weighed in, noting that managing budgets properly is crucial. “It’s important for people to have clarity on budgets, as that’s where a considerable amount of funds come from. The excitement lies in observing the money flow,” he mentioned.

“He seems really prepared for this situation because there’s a larger narrative about government cuts,” she remarked. “And now we see how he’s leveraging this opportunity, even suspending an $18 billion infrastructure plan in New York City, along with canceling an $8 billion green initiative.”

Overall, it looks like the administration is trying to navigate the early hours of the shutdown effectively, showcasing a sort of proactive approach amidst the chaos.
