Support for Trump’s Deportation Plans Stated in YouTube Interview
A New York City resident expressed his backing for President Donald Trump’s deportation initiatives during a live conversation with former CNN host Don Lemon on YouTube this past Sunday.
The Trump administration continues to push for a significant deportation operation as part of the president’s campaign, with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirming there will be no delays, even amid federal government shutdowns. During Lemon’s livestream, the individual remarked that the president appeared motivated to deport individuals, despite Lemon claiming that Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) was cruel in its approach to immigration.
“I feel good about them,” the man stated in response to Lemon’s inquiries regarding ICE’s actions. When asked if he supported stricter measures, he indicated that he wanted the administration to strengthen their efforts even further.
“I’ve wanted it for years – everything in my life,” he added. Lemon claimed, albeit without backing evidence, that ICE was “trolling people.”
“At the same time, take them out of here. Get them all out of here. Thank you,” the man continued. “You should play four more years for that, just for that.”
The man contended that illegal immigrants were taking jobs away from Americans, even though Lemon attempted to argue that these were jobs Americans didn’t want to do.
In a September announcement, the DHS revealed that over 2 million illegal immigrants had been removed from the United States within the first 250 days of the president’s second term.
Moreover, the Trump administration successfully enforced a record of detaining illegal immigrants for four consecutive months without granting parole. According to data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released in September, Border Patrol agents encountered 6,319 apprehensions along the southern border in August, averaging about 204 arrests daily.
Data also revealed that, in August, there were fewer than 26,200 border encounters across the nation.
