ICE Transports Handcuffed Portland Suspect on Flatbed Cart During Antifa Protests

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released a video showing a suspect being transported in a flatbed cart during protests in Portland, Oregon.

According to the agency, this incident was captured on video. In the footage, the suspect is seen spitting onto the ground while being wheeled along.

Those involved seemed to be dressed in black hoodies, many also carrying orange backpacks.

In a somewhat cheeky remark, ICE captioned the video, “Portland – refuse a walk? We’ll give you a ride.”

Recently, President Trump authorized the military to assist in safeguarding ICE facilities from Antifa, a group labeled as a domestic terrorist organization, according to reports from September 27.

One inscription linked to the conflict read, “O Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao, Ciao, Ciao,” referencing the Italian song often associated with anti-fascist movements. Another inscription warned, “Hey fascist! Catch!”

Meanwhile, state and city authorities took legal action against the president, which halted the National Guard’s deployment to Portland. Oregon’s Democratic Governor Tina Kotek stated there was “no uprising.”

Despite this claim, Antifa-affiliated groups have reportedly been targeting ICE facilities, raising concerns that local police lack the resources to manage the unrest.

In response to the situation, Texas has pledged 400 national security personnel to the federal government following a failed attempt to stop Trump’s orders about troop deployments in Oregon.

On Saturday, a federal judge ruled against Trump, preventing him from involving Oregon and California National Guard units to protect ICE facilities, arguing it blurred the lines between civil authority and military power, echoing fears of martial law.

Later on, this restriction was extended to block any National Guard movement into Portland.

Trump’s legal team is currently appealing the ruling in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, while federal law enforcement has started pursuing and arresting protesters in Portland.

Investigative reporter Katie Davistour shared videos of federal agents dispersing demonstrations on Sunday. In previous footage, a detainee could be heard shouting, “Fascist, fascist! Go home! You are not welcome here!”

The ICE video sparked various reactions on social media, with one user humorously dubbing it “Cartifah.” Other users shared comparisons to Home Depot advertisements, mocking the scene.

Another commentator quipped about “removing the garbage!”
