During his recent visit to the UK, Prince Harry experienced several alarming encounters with a woman thought to be struggling with mental health issues. This occurred last month when she allegedly approached him on two different occasions. The first incident happened on September 9, just before the WellChild Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, where she reportedly accessed a restricted area.

According to reports, she managed to hide in the hotel bathroom about twenty minutes before the Duke’s arrival at the charity event. After being removed from the hotel, she was later seen near his vehicle as he arrived. The following day, she made another appearance close to Harry at the Explosion Research Centre in West London.

A representative for the Duke stated that he had no comments regarding security matters. Insiders indicated that such situations aren’t uncommon for members of the royal family. However, there was no police presence, leaving only a couple of staff members to manage the incidents.

Earlier this year, the 41-year-old faced a setback when he lost an appeal to regain publicly funded security after stepping back from royal duties.

Prince Harry returned to the UK on September 8, where he focused on significant charitable causes. He also honored the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death by visiting her grave in Windsor. Additionally, he had a noteworthy reunion with his father, King Charles III, which some see as a potential turning point in their relationship.

Sources close to Harry suggested that there had been difficulties in communication with his father since a private health disclosure in 2024. Harry has expressed a desire to mend his relationships within the royal family, acknowledging that ongoing conflict seems futile. Since stepping back as an active royal alongside his wife, Meghan Markle, in 2020, he has shared his concerns and feelings through various interviews and his memoir, “Spare,” heightening family tensions.
