Todd Nepola Files $10 Million Lawsuit Against Bravo

Todd Nepola, the former husband of “The Real Housewives of Miami” star Alexia Nepola, has initiated a lawsuit against Bravo, seeking $10 million in damages for defamation.

In the suit, filed on Tuesday, Nepola accuses the network of airing false statements that allegedly portrayed him as being “financially irresponsible” and in “financial distress.” He contends that Bravo and its affiliates have consistently made damaging comments about him, ultimately harming his reputation within the Miami business community.

He cites incidents from seasons 6 and 7 of the show, asserting he didn’t sign on for those seasons. However, he did agree to participate in seasons 4 and 5, filing for divorce from Alexia in April 2024 after two years of marriage.

The couple finalized their divorce in March. Todd, who is 52, has singled out cast member Adriana de Mula, alleging she falsely claimed their marriage was plagued by money issues.

Despite not featuring in season 7, which is currently airing, much of Alexia’s storyline revolves around their separation. Bravo has also reportedly revisited past footage that includes him.

Todd claims he has had numerous discussions with producers where he expressed concerns about being misrepresented but was met with indifference. He argues that Bravo is willing to distort reality for the sake of entertainment, regardless of the repercussions.

He maintains that he has always enjoyed a strong personal and professional reputation, stating he has never faced any financial troubles or issues such as bounced checks or foreclosure—which he believes undermines the false narrative being presented. Todd also asserts that his net worth exceeds $100 million.

Representatives for Alexia, De Moura, Bravo, and associated entities did not immediately respond to requests for comments.
