Joe Rogan Critiques Terror Watch List Placement of Tulsi Gabbard
On a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” podcast host Joe Rogan expressed strong criticism regarding the classification of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard as a terror suspect during the Biden administration.
Whistleblower accounts from 2024 indicated that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAM) were keeping tabs on Gabbard as she traveled. She reportedly found herself included on a TSA list associated with the “Quiet Skies” program. Rogan highlighted Gabbard’s impressive background in Congress and her military service, suggesting those who placed her on such a list should face serious consequences. He described the action as a profound misuse of authority, drawing comparisons to politically motivated persecution seen in some third-world nations.
“She was in Congress for eight years and served twice in the medical corps during the war,” Rogan remarked. “And yet, she’s labeled a terrorist? Whoever made that decision should be in jail. It’s just absurd.”
Rogan continued, questioning the rationale behind placing a congresswoman on a terror watch list for an extended period, emphasizing that there seemed to be no valid reason for such an extreme measure. He contrasted Gabbard’s demeanor with that of other political figures, remarking on the inconsistency of labeling her as a threat.
In a statement to Racket News, Gabbard disclosed that both she and her husband underwent what she described as “random” searches at airports, sometimes lasting up to 45 minutes. “It happened every time I got on a plane,” she remarked.
Gabbard also conveyed her frustrations regarding how her clothing was handled during these searches, noting the careless treatment of her blazers and personal items.
It’s worth mentioning that the “Quiet Skies” program was ultimately terminated by the Trump administration in June of 2025. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem remarked at the time that the program had been politically weaponized against opponents and used to favor certain individuals.
Following the events of January 6, 2021, it appears the program expanded to include individuals who had participated in protests at the Capitol.
