Brianna LaPaglia Opens Up About Relationship with Zach Bryan
Brianna “Chicken Fry” LaPaglia shared an emotional reflection on her previous relationship with country singer Zach Bryan during the latest episode of Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test.
LaPaglia, co-host of Barstool Sports’ Best Friend, recounted how she initially met Bryan through Instagram DMs, describing it as a typical modern introduction. “There should have been a lot of red flags because the relationship was moving so quickly,” she admitted, “but I was blindsided by a lot of things.”
Though they confirmed their relationship in July 2023, Bryan announced their breakup on Instagram in October. Since then, LaPaglia has discussed the emotional turmoil she faced during their time together.
“My ex-boyfriend is a super famous musician. He was horrible to me,” she revealed to her fellow recruits. “He became famous on TikTok and thinks he’s a god.”
The show’s drill sergeants, Billy Billingham and Jason “Foxy” Fox, probed deeper into her experiences. LaPaglia tearfully reflected on the public nature of her relationship, saying, “I was in a bad relationship. I left the house with a smile, but no one knew what was going on. I was in the worst situation.”
She also mentioned an NDA Bryan’s team allegedly pushed her to sign, which aimed to silence her about their relationship. “I lost myself and I didn’t want to be here anymore. It was just a dark hole I was crawling out of,” she shared. “He even offered me $12.9 million to free my voice, which he tried to do. I didn’t accept it.”
Reflecting on her past strength, she said, “I was a strong girl who made videos for girls about what not to do and how to be strong. And I don’t even know what the hell happened, because it happened to me.”
