Additionally, Florida Senator Rick Scott referred to Kirk as a “giant and a patriot,” expressing pride in leading the resolution to declare his birthday a Day of Remembrance. He noted the importance of Kirk’s life and influence in the conservative movement.

Sen. Jim Banks from Indiana honored Kirk as a dedicated husband and father whose commitment to robust debate influenced many young conservatives nationwide. “We will never forget his legacy,” he stated.

The Rev. Franklin Graham highlighted Kirk’s posthumous award as a reflection of collective gratitude for the principles he stood for. He stated that the honor symbolizes the nation’s respect for Kirk’s contributions to freedoms that many cherish.

On September 29, a statue honoring Charlie Kirk was unveiled at a monument at Utah Valley University, reinforcing his legacy within conservative circles.

Governor Glenn Youngkin of Virginia expressed gratitude for Kirk’s service and praised President Trump for recognizing him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The day, while somber, was a reminder of the values Kirk embodied.
