Three Horror Movie Figures Menace Virginia Family, Try to Break In, Threaten to Kill

Recent doorbell footage has surfaced, showing a group of costumed individuals menacing a widow and her family in Alexandria, Virginia, making threats to break in and harm them.

As reported, the disturbing event took place on a Tuesday night. Sheila Whiteside, who was at her mother’s Alexandria home, initially dismissed the intruders’ costumes as a “little prank” and even greeted them with a “Happy Halloween” through the doorbell speaker.

However, Halloween was still more than two weeks away, and the atmosphere quickly shifted.

One of the trespassers was dressed in a clown mask, another modeled after Michael Myers from the “Halloween” films, and the third was in the attire of an evil nun, according to reports.

“Get out,” one of them shouted from outside the residence in the suburban D.C. area.

“Either you come out or we come in,” another yelled.

The suspects took turns trying to force the door open, pulling on the doorknob aggressively.

In a particularly unnerving moment, the nun character banged on the door and screamed, “This is my worst nightmare.”

In another section of the video shared by TMZ, the character dressed as Michael Myers threatened to kill everyone inside.

Whiteside was at home with her mother, younger brother, and their dog during the terrifying incident.

Expressing her emotions, she said, “I felt really grateful to be there after my dad passed away recently.” However, she also noted, “Now she’s scared and doesn’t want to be left alone at the house.”

The family dialed 911, and law enforcement is currently investigating the incident, searching the neighborhood for leads on the suspects.

Chief of Police Tarik McGuire addressed the gravity of the situation, stating, “This is a very serious matter.”

Police revealed that the group also damaged property by breaking through a wooden fence, cutting open a screen door, and banging on a window.

McGuire emphasized that their actions constituted burglary under Virginia law.

Whiteside expressed that the outcome could have been worse, stating, “Our Second Amendment rights might have been tested.”

The police chief remarked that such scenarios can escalate quickly, reminding homeowners of their right to defend themselves.

“These incidents are frightening and pose serious risks,” he stated. “They can lead to severe injuries.” He cautioned, “This serves as a warning: don’t approach others’ doors, don’t threaten them, don’t try to push your way in; it could lead to dangerous situations.”
