Dallas drag artist faces grooming allegations after celebrating the removal of Sara Gonzales from a drag show

Drag Performer Accused of Grooming

A host from Blaze TV, Sarah Gonzalez, has faced backlash for referring to drag performers as “child groomers.” Recently, she highlighted some troubling allegations against Kiva Walker, also known as Salem Moon, who has been involved in “all ages” drag shows in Dallas, Texas. Walked recently took pride in having Gonzalez removed from one of his events.

“In the words of our friend Sara Gonzalez, who escorted her out, ‘The pressure worked, guys.’ She’s not here anymore, and she’s not going to taint our great event,” Walker remarked. However, Gonzalez had a pointed response.

“It seems he was accused of grooming an underage boy,” she scoffed. “I think that maybe it’s alarming for a grown man to want to dress provocatively around children. Perhaps this is a concern we should address.”

While she acknowledges that Walker is innocent until proven guilty, she insists there’s substantial evidence. “Victims are sharing their stories online,” she stated.

The first alleged victim, who goes by “Blade,” detailed an uncomfortable encounter with Walker from when he was a teenager. “My recollections suggest that Walker made advances on me at a young age. It left me with difficulties in trusting others,” Blade shared in a post on X.

Blade’s account mentions that Walker contacted him when he was just 15, offering free singing lessons but quickly turning the conversation inappropriate. “What a nice gesture, right? Then it shifted to sexual jokes, flirting, and requests for explicit pictures,” Gonzalez noted sarcastically.

Moreover, Blade described further incidents, including requests for inappropriate videos. “I’m just being realistic to suggest that adults who want to perform like that in front of children might be problematic,” she said. There are indications that Walker did apologize at one point for his behavior but returned to it later.

Another victim came forward with similar accusations online, sharing evidence that reflects their experience. “It’s sickening, and I think it’s important to bring these issues to light because I’m tired of hearing the narrative that it’s all just hate,” Gonzalez added.
