Britney Spears Addresses Erratic Driving Video
Britney Spears recently addressed some unusual driving behavior she exhibited, posting about it on Instagram. “In case anyone was wondering if that lookalike wasn’t me…🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤓,” the pop star, now 43, said in a post on Saturday.
A video that circulated late Thursday showed Spears dangerously swerving into another lane after leaving a restaurant in Thousand Oaks, California. It depicted her veering into a bike lane, crossing a road median, and making a U-turn with squealing tires.
Interestingly, Spears didn’t directly acknowledge the viral video, which featured a graphic of Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck embracing, when she made her post on social media.
Adding to the complexity, recent reports suggest her family is becoming increasingly worried that she may be “losing control.” There’s some concern about well-being as she promotes her new memoir.
In later posts, Spears expressed feelings of disrespect, saying, “Even when the most incredibly awful things are said about me, I don’t feel respected at all.” Despite these feelings, she shared an older painting video, stating she lacks inspiration and motivation for new art.
Spears turned off comments on her Instagram post, opting for a pink swimsuit modeled in the following uploads. “The incredibly awful things being said about me really get to me,” she added in her posts.
Her representatives have yet to respond to inquiries regarding these developments. The Daily Mail mentioned that concerns from family members revolve around her current state, especially as she promotes her memoir titled, You Thought You Knew, which highlights her past with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Sources clarified that discussions about how to keep her safe have been underway. Some of her loved ones are reportedly anxious and are deliberating on what actions might be necessary should a crisis arise.
In response to claims made by Federline in his memoir — which include allegations about infidelity and drug use while caring for their son — Spears fiercely fired back through social media. She noted the gaslighting she feels she has endured and criticized the book as a means for him to exploit her story for profit, stating, “The white lies in that book are going straight to the bank. And I’m the only one really hurt here.”
