Eli Manning’s Son Dresses as Jackson Dart for Halloween
During Manning Cast on Monday night, Eli Manning shared that his 7-year-old son, Charlie, has chosen to dress as Jackson Dart for Halloween this year.
Charlie will likely not be alone in this decision, as many kids might opt for the same costume, inspired by the Giants’ rookie quarterback.
“It’s really cool,” Dart commented after Wednesday’s practice. “I’ve met Charlie a few times and I’m close with Eli. I think he might be a bit disappointed it’s not me, like he mentioned, but I think it’s a neat connection.”
Eli Manning did acknowledge it feels “a little painful” for Charlie to pick another former Ole Miss and Giants quarterback to emulate. Dart’s look includes his No. 6 jersey, a black eye on one side, and a silver chain around his neck.
Dart expressed his excitement about kids dressing up as him. He’s planning to have plenty of candy for those trick-or-treating at his door.
“I hope so,” he added. “I’m ready for Halloween. Yes, I love it.”
In other news, rookie running back Kam Scattebo returned to the team facility after emergency surgery for a dislocated ankle. Coach Brian Daboll noted that Scattebo was involved in meetings and had started moving around the building, though he has a challenging recovery ahead.
It’s currently unclear when Scattebo will be able to play again in 2026. “They can’t give a clear prognosis just yet,” Daboll stated. “He has his legs totally wrapped and we need to focus on his rehab.”
Wide receiver Malik Nabors also underwent surgery for a torn ACL and will rehabilitate with Scattebo at the team facility. “We want to ensure they’re on the right recovery track, and their health is our priority,” Daboll commented.
The return of cornerback Paulson Adebo and safety Jevon Holland will be beneficial for the team. Both players are recovering from knee injuries. Holland seems closer to returning than Adebo, who hasn’t practiced yet. Daboll mentioned that they might see both players on the field but left some uncertainty regarding Adebo’s situation. The overall depth in their secondary remains thin due to starting cornerback Cordale Flott being in concussion protocol.
Other players, including RT Germaine Elemunor (pectoral strain) and tight ends Daniel Bellinger (neck) and Chauncey Golston (neck), did not participate in practice. WR Jarrin Hiatt is expected to return Thursday following wisdom tooth surgery.
