Katie Miller Almost Walks Off “Piers Morgan Uncensored” After Clash with Cenk Uyghur
During a recent episode of “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” former President Trump aide Katie Miller came close to leaving the show following a heated argument with progressive commentator Cenk Uyghur. The dispute centered around accusations of lying related to discussions about Israel and anti-Semitism.
The tension escalated when Miller, who previously worked as communications director for former Vice President Mike Pence and is married to Trump adviser Stephen Miller, defended her critiques on New York City mayoral candidate Zoran Mamdani. She questioned why critiques of Mamdani frequently veered into discussions about Jewish identity and anti-Israel sentiments without addressing his actual political stances.
“Why does it always revert to the Jewish and anti-Israel discussions whenever someone critiques Mamdani?” she asked during the panel discussion.
Uyghur responded by asserting, “Nobody mentioned Jews; you said it. You constantly do that. We say Israel, and you say Jews. We’re speaking about Israel as a government.”
When Miller labeled Israel as the “Jewish state” and claimed that Uyghur’s language perpetuated anti-Jewish narratives, he interrupted her, saying, “That’s a lie. It’s normal for you to lie so convincingly.”
Feeling cornered, Miller expressed her frustration, stating, “I’m really exhausted by the racist remarks aimed at my husband, my family, and my children. I am raising Jewish children in this environment.”
In response, Uyghur shot back, “Who dragged your kids into this? What a ridiculous claim.”
Miller then directed her frustration at Piers Morgan, stating that if the conversation continued in that vein, she would leave. “Piers, if you’re going to allow these racist jabs at one of your commentators, I’m finished,” she declared. “His comment, ‘The Millers are lying,’ feels like coded language against us being Jewish.”
Uyghur dismissed her concerns, retorting, “What a sad thing to say.”
The heated exchange prompted political analyst Omar Badar, who was also on the panel, to step in. He pointed out that personal criticism is not the same as an anti-Semitic attack, stating, “Saying you’re lying is not an attack on Jews; it’s an attack on you personally.”
Badar further emphasized that attacking Stephen Miller’s political actions doesn’t inherently invoke his religion, phrasing it as, “Yes, Stephen Miller is harmful to American society, but that doesn’t relate to Jewish identity.”
As the argument continued, Morgan attempted to redirect the conversation back to policy matters, but the visibly frustrated Katie Miller chose to remain silent. The segment concluded without further comments from either party.
Inquiries have been sent to both Miller and Uyghur for further statements.
