Glenn Beck reveals the true reason Bill Gates changed his stance on climate change

Gates Softens Stance on Climate Change

For almost two decades, Bill Gates has been warning about climate change, calling it perhaps the greatest existential threat humanity faces. However, his tone seems to have shifted recently.

On October 28th, Gates shared a post titled “Three hard truths about the climate,” where one particular line caught attention: “Climate change will have serious consequences, especially for people in the poorest countries, but it will not lead to the extinction of humanity.”

Later that day, he made an appearance on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” further emphasizing this surprising change. “Climate is a very important issue, but there is enough innovation here to avoid very bad outcomes,” he stated.

He continued, saying, “If we aim to minimize rising temperatures, we need to think about the overall welfare of humanity. It shouldn’t all be about climate.”

His remarks took Glenn Beck by surprise. “This is a reversal of the narrative,” he noted, recalling that Gates had previously authored a book underscoring the need to achieve net-zero emissions and had invested in solar geoengineering initiatives.

This about-face raises questions. Did Gates realize a fundamental error in his previous positions, or is there another reason behind this shift?

Glenn Beck theorizes that Gates hasn’t changed his stance at all. Instead, his altered tone could be a practical adjustment in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election.

Beck stated, “Donald Trump won, and he’s dismantling the global dream that Gates and others envisioned. Trump is taking apart institutions like the World Economic Forum and the United Nations.” He suggests that Gates may need a new strategy, as his previous notions about eliminating “stupid, useless people” to save the planet don’t seem feasible anymore.

Beck warned viewers against accepting Gates’ newfound perspective too readily. “You were pushing us toward oblivion. You frightened our children. You claimed we would all perish. And now you casually change course?” he criticized.

“We should be wary. We shouldn’t listen to him or others like him. They’ve crafted a restrictive environment for anyone not in their elite circle,” he concluded.
