James Carville Critiques Hunter Biden’s Actions

On Thursday’s episode of “Political War Room,” Democratic strategist James Carville expressed his disapproval of Hunter Biden, accusing him of engaging in illegal activities.

Hunter was reportedly upset with former President Barack Obama after a memorable incident where Obama physically pulled his father off stage at an Axios 2024 fundraiser, as noted in a report quoting Jonathan Karl’s recent book. During the show, co-host Al Hunt brought up this subject, prompting Carville to advise Hunter to keep a low profile in light of his past actions.

“When it comes to Hunter Biden, look, he did something really stupid and terrible,” Carville stated. “He took $50,000 a month from a Ukrainian energy company. If he truly cared about his father, it seems he wouldn’t have put him in such a difficult position,” he continued.

Carville added, “I don’t criticize the former president for pardoning his son; I believe he was unfairly prosecuted. Yet, he definitely committed some sort of crime. He’s not like Chelsea Clinton or the children of the Obamas. He leveraged his last name for profit. After everything that’s happened, you’d think he would choose to stay quiet.”

He pointed out that Hunter, lacking any experience in the energy sector, received large sums monthly from Burisma while seemingly involving his father in international business dealings.

The former president pardoned Hunter last December after a jury found him guilty of illegally possessing a firearm while being a drug addict and of making false statements on purchase forms. In his pardon announcement, the former president claimed that his son was a victim of unjust treatment due to their familial relationship.
