Trump Remarks on Enjoying Watching Biden 'Squirm' Over Arctic Frost Discoveries

Trump Accuses Predecessor of Criminal Activity

On Thursday, former President Donald Trump criticized his predecessor, labeling him a “criminal” amid new findings regarding the Biden administration’s “Arctic Frost” investigation into Trump and his associates.

While he didn’t directly name Joe Biden, his comments seemed aimed at the former president as he referenced a report from Just the News. This report discusses the investigation initiated during Biden’s presidency, which looked into Biden and his allies’ roles in the January 6th riot. Former prosecutors and FBI agents suggested that the FBI’s memo that led to the Arctic Frost inquiry was founded on flimsy evidence.

Trump remarked, “He is a criminal and should be in prison. He is a gross, despicable person and a failure,” on his Truth Social platform. He added, “He’s an ugly man, both on the outside and on the inside! I beat him so bad, and now I love watching him struggle.”

The Arctic Frost investigation reportedly started under former FBI Director Chris Wray and was later continued by Special Counsel Jack Smith during Attorney General Merrick Garland’s tenure.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley disclosed a subpoena on Wednesday, which was part of Smith’s investigation into potential 2020 election interference. Grassley noted that the document aimed to “examine the entire Republican political machine” and named over 430 Republican figures and entities, seeking their testimony and documents.

Previously, Grassley mentioned that the cell phone records of nine Republican Congress members had been compromised. In a related development, Senator Ted Cruz called for the impeachment of Federal Judge James Boasberg after it was revealed that Boasberg issued an order preventing AT&T from informing Cruz about a subpoena for his phone records.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Grassley stated, “Arctic Frost was a vehicle for partisan FBI agents and Justice Department prosecutors to illegally investigate the entire Republican political machine. Contrary to Mr. Smith’s public statements, this was clearly a fishing expedition.”

On the same day, Trump condemned the “imprisonment” of individuals connected to the Arctic Frost investigation, calling them a “disgrace to humanity” and labeling Smith as a “criminal.”
