Former UFC fighter Ronda Rousey still has issues with Joe Rogan.

Ronda Rousey appears to be moving on without any fondness for Joe Rogan during her break from the Octagon.

Rousey, who is often seen as the leading figure in women’s MMA, has expressed some strong criticism and lingering resentment towards Rogan, a mainstay in the UFC since its inception in the mid-90s.

On the “bartcast podcast,” while performing with comedian Bert Kreischer, Rousey, sporting a black eye, playfully responded when asked what it would take for her to step back into the Octagon. She cheekily suggested she could take down Kreischer right then and there in his backyard.

“I’m going to beat the hell out of you in your backyard for this house,” Rousey joked, adding, “Let’s go…right now. Right now.”

When Kreischer mentioned needing to reach out to Logan for fighting tips, Rousey didn’t hold back. “He wouldn’t know,” she stated. “He’s not an expert. He’s a fan with an audience.”

Kreischer, with a chuckle, attempted to defend Logan, citing his taekwondo background and black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

But Rousey wasn’t having it. “He’s never fought,” she pointed out. “There’s a distinction between training and actually stepping into the Octagon. It’s not a fight.”

Logan, despite not officially entering the Octagon, is noted for his grappling skills. He directed some training to former UFC champion Georges St-Pierre back in 2011, teaching him a notable spinning back kick technique. Logan also had plans to battle actor Wesley Snipes for the UFC in 2005, although that match ultimately didn’t take place.

Rousey’s frustrations seem rooted in her history with Rogan, especially after she ended her fighting career following TKO losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes.

Rousey previously mentioned her disappointment with Rogan and others after they turned on her. “It was really disheartening to see how quickly everyone shifted, especially someone like Joe Rogan who was previously emotional about competing with me,” she reflected in an interview last year.

Her memory for grievances is quite sharp, making it clear she holds onto those feelings.

Rousey’s relationship with WWE has also been tumultuous since her departure, particularly since it’s now under the same corporate umbrella as the UFC.

Although she has recently resumed training in mixed martial arts, she seems hesitant about making a return to competitive fighting.
