Eli Manning's son dresses up as the Giants' Jaxson Dart for Halloween

Jackson Dart Wins Over Giants Fans

Since stepping in as the starting quarterback for the New York Giants in late September, rookie Jackson Dart has captured the attention of fans, including Charlie, the son of the legendary Eli Manning.

On ESPN’s Manning Cast, Eli shared that Charlie plans to dress up as Dart for Halloween. He also mentioned that Charlie has a chain similar to Dart’s and wants to wear it to school daily.

“He got a chain, which is good. The problem is he wants to wear it every day since he got it last week,” Manning said during the show.

Peyton Manning jokingly asked if it stung a little that Charlie picked the Giants’ quarterback over him. Eli responded, “It hurts a little bit.”

Despite any sibling rivalry, Dart seems pleased. He told reporters that he has met Charlie a few times, and although Eli might feel a tad disappointed, he finds their connection “great.” It’s nice to see such relationships develop.

Recently, Dart was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. Over four games, he achieved record highs with 10 total touchdowns, including seven rushing touchdowns, as well as the best passer rating among rookie quarterbacks at 90.0.

Interestingly, the last Giants player to receive the Rookie of the Month title was Odell Beckham Jr. back in 2014, who later won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award that season.

The Giants’ current record stands at 2-3 in Dart’s starts this season, and they are 2-6 overall. They’re set to face the San Francisco 49ers (5-3) at home this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
