JD Vance Becomes a Viral Hit with the 'Fat JD' Halloween Meme

Vice President J.D. Vance Turns “Fat JD” Meme into Halloween Hit

Vice President J.D. Vance has cleverly transformed the “Fat JD” meme, which had been bothering him for some time, into a personal and political achievement, becoming a Halloween sensation with millions of views on social media.

In a brief video he shared, he dressed up in a brown curly wig, opened the door to his residence at the Naval Observatory, and cheerfully said, “Happy Halloween, kids, and don’t forget to say thank you.”

The video included a mug shot of the 41-year-old vice president, which spun around to the tune of The Twilight Zone.

This playful response comes after a tense encounter with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy back in February, during which Vance criticized him. In the fall-out, the internet took off with memes depicting Vance in an exaggerated manner, complete with wild hair and captions like “You didn’t say please” and “You didn’t say thank you.”

His Halloween video struck a chord, generating over 250,000 likes and 14 million views within just a few hours—an impressive figure for a political post, as reported.

Across platforms like Instagram, X, and Facebook, the clip received a flurry of comments, mostly from MAGA supporters who enjoyed the vice president’s sense of humor.

One user exclaimed, “Damn JD VANCE did that meme. I’ll never delete it,” showcasing the engagement that the post sparked.

Creative fans quickly began utilizing AI to create animated versions featuring Halloween-themed Vance interacting with the memes.

Benny Johnson noted on X that Vance had warned conservative commentators about dressing as a meme during their travels earlier in the week. He highlighted that the original meme had already become a viral hit since its debut.

“This is the most popular and powerful political meme in the world,” Johnson mentioned. “Like most good memes, it needs no explanation and perfectly captures the moment.”

Johnson added that Vance had foreshadowed that he would “destroy the internet,” and it certainly appears he achieved that goal.
