US VETS and Fox relaunch 'Make Camo Your Cause' initiative

Veterans Day Campaign Focuses on Ending Homelessness Among Veterans

As Veterans Day approaches on November 11, viewers of FOX News Channel are likely to notice a lot of camouflage being worn. This is the fifth consecutive year that FOX Corporation has teamed up with USVETS for the “Make Camo Your Cause” initiative, aimed at addressing the issue of homelessness among veterans. It’s shocking, really, that so many who bravely served are now without a place to live.

The “Make Camo Your Cause” campaign seeks to raise awareness around this critical issue, emphasizing that “veteran” and “homeless” should never be mentioned in the same breath. FOX, as the founding media sponsor, has previously seen great success with this campaign, leading to significant donations and heightened visibility of USVETS’ essential work.

Hosts and anchors on FOX News will wear camouflage clothing to honor veterans and promote the mission of USVETS. There’s an opportunity for viewers to purchase FOX-branded camouflage gear online, showing support for veterans by wearing it proudly on Veterans Day.

Participants can make camouflage their cause, which may involve donating, purchasing apparel, or both. After all, veterans deserve to live with dignity, not struggle on the streets.

The campaign offers a range of camouflage products—from hats to duffel bags—aimed at spreading awareness about USVETS’ mission. Each purchase contributes to helping veterans and their families transition back into civilian life, offering essential services like housing and job training.

You’ll also see “Make Camo Your Cause” popping up in graphics on screen, as well as across Fox News’ social media platforms and digital outlets.

Founded in 1993, USVETS stands as the largest nonprofit organization tackling veteran homelessness in the U.S. They don’t just provide housing; there are also counseling and career development services available.

On November 11, FOX News anchor Harris Faulkner will conduct an interview with USVETS’ CEO, Darryl J. Vincent, discussing the important mission at hand.
