Elon Musk hints at Tesla flying car unveiling in a few months on Rogan's podcast.

Elon Musk has suggested that Tesla might reveal a flying car soon.

This insight came during his recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, where he discussed various topics, including the Tesla Roadster’s progress.

“We’re getting close to demonstrating the prototype,” Musk stated. “I can promise that this product demo will be something unforgettable,” he told Rogan.

“Unforgettable? Why?” Rogan inquired.

Musk reflected on the notion of flying cars, recalling how his friend Peter Thiel once imagined that this is what the future would look like. Yet, he noted, “we don’t actually have flying cars.”

When Rogan pressed for details about the technology, like whether the vehicle would feature “retractable wings,” Musk remained coy, declaring that this announcement may be “the most memorable product launch ever.”

He expects the unveiling to happen “in the coming months.”

Interestingly, Musk remarked, “For better or worse, it’s going to be unforgettable.” It’s almost as if he’s both excited and apprehensive about the implications.

He emphasized the advanced technology integrated into the vehicle, repeating, “It’s crazy, crazy technology that’s in this car.” The enthusiasm is palpable, but it does raise some questions about what challenges lie ahead.

In terms of business, Tesla reported record third-quarter sales on October 22, surpassing Wall Street expectations. A surge in electric vehicle purchases was prompted by buyers trying to secure important tax credits before they expire.

However, the company’s profits fell short of forecasts due to tariffs, research costs, and reduced corporate income, with regulatory credits likely to diminish as recent legislation takes effect.

Without these tax incentives—crucial for driving demand for electric vehicles—interest in Tesla and its competitors could fluctuate significantly in the near future.
