We've experienced this Bills story before

Well, January is when it really counts.

During a weekend of surprising NFL results, the Bills managed to beat the Chiefs for the fifth straight time in the regular season.

It could’ve been a major statement if we hadn’t already seen this scenario play out before.

While the Bills won their customary regular season game, the Chiefs continued their playoff dominance, taking the victory in their fourth postseason meeting since 2020.

At the moment, the Bills seem like the NFL’s top team, although they technically hold second place in their division due to tiebreakers.

Here’s how the rest of the Post’s Week 10 NFL Power Rankings pan out.

1. Proposal No. 6-2(5)

Josh Allen secured three touchdowns, James Cook rushed for 114 yards, and the defense put pressure on Patrick Mahomes with three sacks and 15 additional hits, ultimately winning 28-21. A missed field goal didn’t change the outcome, as Maxwell Hairston made a crucial pass with 17 seconds left to clinch the victory. Allen recorded an impressive 88.5 percent completion rate, setting a new team record for a single game.

2. Colts 7-2 (1)

Daniel Jones returned from his MVP-like performance to what can only be described as Giants form, tossing three interceptions and fumbling twice, leading to six turnovers in the Colts’ 27-20 defeat against the Steelers. Jonathan Taylor had a disappointing outing with just 45 rushing yards, and the usually high-scoring Colts managed to tie their season low for points.

3. Buccaneers 6-2 (4)

The bye week was crucial for rest, especially with key receivers like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin sidelined, and they had to rely on the emerging talent of Emeka Egbuka. Running back Bucky Irving and edge rusher Haason Reddick weren’t able to play either. On a bright note, Baker Mayfield has been nothing short of stellar, boasting 13 touchdowns against only 2 interceptions while going 4-1 on the road.

4. Eagles 6-2(6)

In their bye week, the Eagles made strategic moves by trading two cornerbacks, Michael Carter II (to the Jets) and Jaire Alexander (to the Ravens), along with edge rusher Jaelan Phillips (to the Dolphins). It’s worth noting that Saquon Barkley is averaging just 64.9 yards a game this season after a breakout last year. Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts threw for 15 touchdowns and only one interception across eight games, making himself a major offensive force.

5. Rams 6-2(7)

Matthew Stafford threw for 281 yards and four touchdowns in a decisive 34-10 win against the Saints, connecting well with Davante Adams for two scores. Kyren Williams added 114 yards and a touchdown to the mix. The defense was strong, preventing Tyler Shaw from achieving a starting debut, though they did endure a kicker’s struggle with Joshua Carty missing his eighth kick of the season (five field goals, three PATs).

6. Seahawks 6-2(8)

Seattle made quite the impression, leveraging the spotlight of national television to score 28 points in the first half, cruising to a 38-14 victory. Sam Darnold threw four touchdown passes to three different receivers, including two quick ones to Torrey Horton before halftime—those scores came just 11 seconds apart, with a special teams takeaway in the mix.

7. Patriots 7-2(10)

The Patriots secured a narrow 24-23 win after being scoreless for the last 21 minutes, thanks in part to the Falcons missing a PAT in the second half, allowing the Patriots to hold onto their 14-point lead. Drake Maye threw two touchdown passes and made an essential 17-yard conversion to run down the clock after the two-minute warning.

8. Broncos 7-2 (11)

Will Lutz nailed another game-winning field goal—his second in three weeks—this time from 34 yards as part of an 18-15 comeback victory over the Texans. Bo Nix tossed a 27-yard touchdown pass to RJ Harvey and later tied it on a two-point conversion with Troy Franklin, finishing the drive with a crucial 29-yard gain, marking their sixth consecutive win.

9. Lions 5-3 (3)

The Lions fell 27-24 to the Vikings, plagued by 10 penalties and five sacks—both season highs. They seemed to struggle post-bye. Jake Bates managed to block a field goal in the fourth quarter, but Jared Goff could only muster a second touchdown pass on the next drive. David Montgomery fought hard but couldn’t secure a touchdown due to a fumble.

10. Packers 5-2-1 (2)

It was like a Halloween ghost came back to haunt them. The Packers had missed opportunities, from kicks and interceptions to a turnover on downs—all contributing to a 16-13 loss to the Panthers. The game flipped after Savion Huggins lost a fumble in the red zone, creating a challenging path ahead, especially with the Browns losing as well.

11. Jaguars 5-3 (12)

12. Chiefs 5-4(9)

13. 49ers 6-3 (13)

14. Chargers 6-3 (14)

15. Steelers 5-3 (16)

16. Bears 5-3 (15)

17. Panthers 5-4 (19)

18. Vikings 4-4 (21)

19. Ravens 3-5 (23)

20. Cowboys 3-5-1 (17)

21. Texans 3-5 (18)

22. Cardinals 3-5 (26)

23. Falcons 3-5 (10)

24. Commanders 3-6 (22)

25. Bengals 3-6 (24)

26. Giants 2-7 (25)

Jackson Dart may have thrown for two touchdowns and run for another, but the Giants lost 34-24 to the 49ers, lacking support on both sides. The team allowed 159 rushing yards, led by Christian McCaffrey with 106 rushing and 67 receiving yards. Brian Burns managed his 11th sack, which led to a forced fumble, yet they missed a field goal attempt right afterward.

27. Raiders 2-6 (29)

28. Dolphins 2-7 (27)

29. Browns 2-5 (28)

30. Jets 1-7 (30)

After a dismal start of 0-7, the Jets savored their first win. During their bye week, they traded Carter and wide receiver John Metchie III to the Eagles. The decisions to retain Quinnen Williams and Breece Hall at the trade deadline could significantly affect head coach Aaron Glenn’s rebuilding timeline.

31. Saints 1-8 (31)

32. Titans 1-8 (32)
