Savannah Chrisley Discusses Weight Struggles on Podcast

Savannah Chrisley recently opened up about her weight on her podcast, “Unlock with Savannah Chrisley.” The 28-year-old reality star expressed a desire to lose around 25 pounds and mentioned her consideration of weight-loss medications during a chat with her mother, Julie Chrisley.

“My weight fluctuates constantly. Right now, I’m nearly at 160 pounds, probably more, and I honestly can’t even tell you my exact weight since I don’t have a scale. But I can feel how my clothes fit,” Savannah shared. “I usually prefer to be around 135.” Previously, she mentioned her reasons for discontinuing weight-loss drugs, which she referred to as “my shot,” explaining how filming made her miss food more.

In her quest for weight loss, Savannah has undergone several blood tests to ensure she can resume using injections safely. “I really like Tirzepatide. Unlike other medications, it doesn’t cause side effects for me,” she explained, adding that it allows her to monitor her health markers like biological age and A1C levels.

Despite any potential criticism, Savannah emphasized that her main concern is feeling good in her body. “People can say what they want; it really doesn’t matter,” she noted. She does want to lose weight but humorously added, “Not too much, though, because I don’t want to lose weight.”

She mentioned her frustration with tight jeans and the need to shed some pounds to fit into her clothes better. Julie and Savannah also indicated plans to hit the gym together as part of their journey.

“I love tirzepatide. It doesn’t give me all the side effects that other drugs give people.”

The mother-daughter duo recently spoke about their lives after being sentenced to prison for federal bank fraud and tax evasion. Julie and her husband, Todd Chrisley, served 28 months before receiving pardons from President Trump and being released in May.

Julie reflected on their time apart, sharing that she and Todd hadn’t spoken for a significant duration due to outdated communication methods while incarcerated. She expressed relief at being reunited with their kids, something that was challenging to maintain during their separation.
