Early far-left California Democratic Party favorite for Pelosi’s seat

There’s an interesting narrative unfolding following the recent victory of Zoran Mamdani in the New York City mayoral election. It seems this win may pave the way for more socialist and far-left candidates to compete for major governmental roles.

In other news, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her husband, Paul Pelosi, have reportedly made over $130 million in stock gains during her time in office. This figure reflects an astonishing return of 16,930% over the span of around 40 years representing California.

These numbers emerged just after Pelosi announced she wouldn’t run for re-election once her current term ends in 2027. Since that announcement, FOX News Digital has been trying to get a comment from her office.

Their current estimated net worth is around $280 million, according to the same report. In her recent announcement, Pelosi reflected on her service, expressing how much it has meant to her to represent San Francisco. She stated, “For me, there is no greater honor than to stand on the floor of the House of Representatives and say, ‘I speak for the people of San Francisco.’ I truly love representing your voice in Congress.”

She then went on to say, “That’s why I want San Franciscans to be the first to know that I am not seeking re-election to Congress.” It’s a moment filled with gratitude as she looks toward her last year in Congress.
