Ali Larter's morning habits support her role in 'Landman'

Ali Larter Opens Up About Her Fitness Routine

Ali Larter is really dedicated to staying fit, especially for her role in the show *Landman*. In a recent talk, she shared some insights on how she maintains her shape at 49 years old.

“I’m serious about this; I work hard,” she emphasized. “I get up at 4:30 in the morning, and I go for a quick run—just 30 minutes. I try to eat healthily, but I definitely eat. I’m all about protein. It suits me.”

In *Landman*, Larter plays Angela Norris, the ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton’s character, who exudes confidence and charm. It’s quite the role for her, after all.

She further explained the importance of strength training in her regimen. “You know, at the end of the day, you always have to walk in front of someone in a bathing suit, and that can be tough,” she noted. “The most confident women I know really own who they are. So, embodying that with Angela is key.”

Recently, Larter surprised her fans by posting a mirror selfie in a red bikini while on set for the second season of *Landman*. In her caption, she mentioned that what fuels her is portraying a character so at ease in her own skin, highlighting her recent experience shooting a bikini scene.

Her prep is extensive; it includes waking up at 5:30 a.m. for celery juice and coffee before diving into her workouts. Then, there’s the icing on the cake—soaking her face in ice water and getting a spray tan before heading to work by 7 a.m.

In another interview, she admitted that she has “no room for insecurities” when playing Angela. “If I let anxiety in, I wouldn’t be able to perform the way I want,” she explained. “I believe in sexiness, and Angela has it inside and out.”

When she’s not on set, Larter enjoys cozying up with her family. Not too long ago, she talked about how they decided to leave Los Angeles for a quieter life in Idaho, and it’s been an adjustment, to say the least.

“It was a surprising move for us,” she shared, noting how the pandemic reshaped their priorities. “We’re committed to putting family first and embracing this new direction. We’re really proud of that choice.”

As *Landman* Season 2 is set to debut on Paramount+ on November 16th, it seems Larter is not only ready for the role but also for the lifestyle changes that come with it.
