Katy Perry has shared her thoughts on releasing her emotional breakup song, “Bandaids,” following her split from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom.
She expressed gratitude on Instagram, mentioning, “Thank you for putting the bandaid on me…” along with behind-the-scenes photos from the music video.
“I struggled for months with the decision to put this song out… It’s still scary to show this side of myself after all these years,” she confessed.
Perry hopes that the song’s lyrics will resonate with anyone going through a similar experience, encouraging them to find strength and not feel alone, adding, “just like I did ❤️🩹.”
