First Lady Melania Trump donned an elegant black evening gown at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards ceremony, where she received the title of Patriot of the Year.
For the event at Till’s Center for the Performing Arts in Long Island, New York, she wore a draped jersey dress by Carolina Herrera, designed by her long-time friend Hervé Pierre.
The gown showcased an asymmetrical neckline, a daring high slit, and ruched details, retailing for approximately $3,000.
While addressing attendees, Mrs. Trump discussed an upcoming Amazon documentary called melania, suggesting that it will provide a glimpse into her life as the first lady.
“It’s the first documentary to capture the 20 days leading up to the inauguration,” Mrs. Trump explained, describing those days as “intense,” during which she transitioned from civilian life to fulfilling her role as first lady.
