Michael Wolff Seems to Suggest Ways for Jeffrey Epstein to Blackmail Trump in Recently Uncovered Emails

Wolff’s Emails to Epstein on Trump

Author Michael Wolff, known for his criticism of Donald Trump, reportedly suggested strategies to disgraced sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on how to potentially blackmail the former president, according to newly uncovered emails.

Emails released by House Democrats reveal Epstein’s claims that Trump was fully aware of his actions and spent significant time with Epstein’s victims at his residence. In a December 15, 2015, email exchange, Wolff cautioned Epstein that CNN would soon inquire about Trump’s ties to him, advising that Epstein could leverage a Trump denial to gain “valuable public relations and political currency.”

“I think he should hang himself,” Wolff wrote in the correspondence. “If he says he hasn’t been on a plane or gone home, that gives him valuable PR and political currency,” indicating a somewhat cynical advice for maneuvering public perception.

The New York Times noted that Trump was not questioned about Epstein during his CNN appearance, leaving uncertainty about whether he faced such inquiries privately.

Since July, Epstein has been a focal point in the media following a Department of Justice report that dismissed claims of foul play in his death and stated that he didn’t maintain a client list. Trump remarked on July 29 that he distanced himself from Epstein after the latter allegedly pursued a female employee from Mar-a-Lago, thought to be Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s victims.

During a recent joint press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump suggested that incriminating evidence relating to him in the Epstein case might have been purposely leaked by the Biden administration to benefit the Democratic Party ahead of the 2024 election.

Epstein’s business partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, also commented in a July deposition that Trump was a “gentleman in every way” and denied having witnessed any inappropriate behavior on his part.
