Exciting Day at the Golf Course

It was quite a lively day at the Kai Trump rink. The 18-year-old granddaughter of former President Donald Trump took a swing at Pelican Golf Club in Bellaire, Florida, during the Annika Tournament Pro-Am, just before her much-anticipated debut on the LPGA Tour. She paired up with club owner Dan Doyle Jr. for the event.

Wearing a black jacket, matching leggings, and a dark baseball cap, Trump enjoyed the sunny day and even tried her hand at basketball. Interestingly, WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark was also there, adding to the excitement of the pro-am.

The outing took place the day before the Annika’s opening game, under the invitation of President Trump and sponsors, though it certainly didn’t sit well with some critics.

Trump is set to tee off on Thursday after 12:30 p.m. “My grandfather always told me to go out and have fun. Just don’t get nervous. Do your best not to be nervous,” she shared before the event.

She also received some words of wisdom from 15-time major champion Tiger Woods, who is currently dating her mother, Vanessa Trump. “I mean, he’s the best golfer in the whole world, I would say that. And an even better human being,” Donald Trump mentioned earlier this week. “He told me to go out and have fun and go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens.” It’s nice to hear such supportive advice, right?

This week has been quite eventful for Trump. She was recently announced as a new signee for the University of Miami’s golf team—a commitment she made last summer, culminating in signing a letter of intent.

“I love the coaches. It’s close to home. It’s a great school,” Trump noted, as reported. “I love the people there. My cousins went there, so I know people who went there. You know, it’s a great university, so I’m looking forward to playing for them.” It seems she has a lot going on, and it’s all pretty exciting!

Annika’s tournament will continue through Sunday.
