Kick-Do Gang Arrests in Texas

Recently, over 20 individuals linked to the Kick-Do gang were taken into custody in Texas, as per reports from Arlington police and the FBI.

Law enforcement carried out search operations across various locations, including Arlington, Dallas, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, and Forney. According to Jeremy Wright, Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Dallas division, they also confiscated weapons, drugs, and cash during these efforts.

In total, 21 gang members were arrested and charged under the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) law. Some face charges related to drugs and weapons, while others are in serious legal trouble for murder and sexual assault.

FBI Director Kash Patel disclosed that the charges against some suspects involve “murder, drug trafficking, assault, robbery, and even aggravated sexual assault of a child.” He emphasized that this operation was a collaborative effort, mobilizing over 450 local and federal law enforcement officers to address a violent incident in Arlington initially.

If found guilty, many of the suspects could receive sentences ranging from 20 years to life imprisonment.

The arrested include a mix of ages and backgrounds, like Blake Scott, 22; Bradley McArthur, 21; and several others, some as young as 18. They face a slew of allegations, painting a grim picture of gang activity.

Wright expressed concern regarding the impact of such groups, stating, “Let’s not let the times distract us from the devastation we have inflicted on our community.” He noted how these gang members allegedly used violence and intimidation to assert control and instill fear in others.

Additionally, the Kick-Do gang is reportedly linked to drive-by shootings, numerous attempts at murder, and serious crimes such as drug trafficking and armed robbery. Arlington Police Chief Al Jones commented on the issue, noting that many violent crimes in the city are gang-related. He had previously sought help from the local FBI office, monitoring Kiccdoe activities closely since January 2022.

“We have tracked around 180 criminal incidents involving Kiccdoe members, including assaults, robberies, and drug-related offenses,” Jones added, underscoring the seriousness of the situation.

With these arrests, there’s hope that the community might feel a bit safer. Jones mentioned, “With these suspects off the streets, our city is safer. I hope that our community can rest a little easier tonight knowing that.”

The collaboration between Arlington police and the FBI is set to continue as they aim to tackle gang violence more effectively.
