Concerns Over Safety Prompt Family Relocation
Katie Miller, a podcaster and wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, expressed serious concerns about safety on the Ruthless podcast. She shared that her young children can no longer play in their front yard due to threats from leftist activists.
Miller detailed how her family had to leave their home in Arlington, Virginia, after facing death threats and harassment from neighbors. “Some people drove by, others sent me death threats, and some even knew our address. It just wasn’t safe for my kids anymore,” she recounted.
Reportedly, this situation led them to move into military housing to escape ongoing protests at their Arlington residence. In fact, a report mentioned that at least six senior officials from the Trump administration have made similar moves out of safety concerns for themselves and their families.
Locally, a group protesting the Millers allegedly posted flyers branding Stephen Miller as a “Nazi” and listing his home address, among other accusations. They also chalked messages on sidewalks, asserting he engaged in “subverting democracy” and “white nationalism.”
Katie shared her worries while out with her children, feeling anxious about potential attacks. “But what do you do with a small child buckled in a car seat? How many parents can relate to the fear of a child having a tantrum? It’s a scary thought,” she reflected. “You look around, hoping nothing bad will happen, and wonder who might come at you with something dangerous.”
She narrated an incident where, just after a conservative activist was killed, someone handed out flyers in her neighborhood with ominous tags. “When they do that, it’s pretty clear what their intentions are,” she said, insisting that this behavior serves to intimidate and scare people.
According to White House press secretary Abigail Jackson, the threats are part of a broader issue targeting not only President Trump, who has faced assassination attempts, but also his administration. Jackson emphasized that disclosing personal information that jeopardizes safety must be condemned and investigated to prevent further attacks on officials and their families.
