Laura Loomer hints at relocating to Georgia after Trump withdraws support for Greene

Speculation Grows Around Loomer’s Possible Move to Georgia

Conservative commentator Laura Loomer stirred speculation over a potential move to Georgia on Saturday. This comes on the heels of President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw his support for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, which he shared in a heated late-night Truth Social post.

Loomer, a devoted Trump supporter with around 1.8 million followers, posted, “Should I move to Georgia?” Her message, especially in light of Trump’s comments branding Greene an “abusing lunatic,” raised eyebrows about whether Loomer might aim to challenge Greene in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.

Greene has yet to respond to Loomer’s suggestion. The tension between Loomer and Greene has been escalating. They’ve exchanged criticisms throughout the year, notably clashing in August over Loomer’s remarks about Medal of Honor recipient Florent Groberg, which led to a flurry of insults between the two.

Loomer’s recent posts reiterate previous accusations against Greene, such as labeling her “no friend to MAGA,” and hinting at dishonesty dating back to 2021. She also brought up Greene’s political affiliations during the 2022 midterm elections.

This rift intensified after Trump’s announcement, which stripped Greene of significant political backing. In his lengthy post, Trump expressed that Greene appeared to be veering away from conservative values and mentioned that Georgia conservatives are considering primary challengers. He indicated his full support for “the right person” to enter the race.

Following Trump’s comments, Loomer noted Greene’s support from Democrats, further fueling their contentious feud. While Loomer hasn’t officially announced a candidacy, her hints about relocating to Georgia came quickly after Trump’s remarks, and speculation about her plans is swirling online.

If Loomer makes the move and decides to run in the 2026 primary, it would create a notable contest between two prominent right-wing figures in a key congressional district. Georgia’s 14th is staunchly conservative, and primary elections there often determine the outcome. The dynamic, particularly with Trump’s involvement, is likely to attract significant media attention and campaign contributions. So far, Loomer has only thrown out questions without any formal campaign announcements.
