Craig Conover’s Eventful BravoCon Return
Craig Conover’s appearance at BravoCon has certainly not been dull. From the Sewing Down South booth to the State Farm area, his presence is unmistakable. Since becoming part of the Bravo world, he has amassed a loyal fan base, demonstrating that Team Craig is alive and kicking.
“It’s incredible,” he shared during a visit to the State Farm sewing room. “It’s amazing to work with State Farm again to recreate the sewing room—kind of like Patricia Altschul’s dining room and Madison LeCroy’s. It feels great to share the porch and backyard with everyone.”
He expressed gratitude for his fans, especially noting that while his fellow cast members haven’t always been supportive, his supporters have been through his ups and downs. It’s like, I really appreciate that.
In addition to greeting fans and participating in activities, Conover has been involved in various panel discussions. He also joined fellow Bravolebrities on Bravo’s show that aired on Friday night, where Andy Cohen delivered a playful opening monologue that left the audience amused.
“Craig is single! He’s attractive, runs a business, has a successful podcast. Oh, wait, that sounds more like Page,” Cohen joked, catching everyone off guard during the awards ceremony.
Conover took the jokes about his breakup with Paige DeSorbo, which created quite a buzz earlier this year, in stride.
“Oh, that was fine. I thought it was a light jab,” he said, noting that Cohen had texted him earlier asking how tough he could be on air. He responded with, “Honestly, I think it’s an 8.5 or 9 out of 10.” Things are good for him right now.
“Of course, Paige is a Bravo legend,” he joked, reflecting on their three-year relationship that everyone knew about. He found it entertaining, emphasizing the difference between being nice and being mean.
In related news, Conover and some of his fellow cast members are making their first public appearances since Kathryn Dennis, a former co-star, was released from prison last month. Dennis had faced legal troubles for drunk driving in May 2024, serving 11 days of a 30-day sentence.
When asked about Dennis’s recent situation, Conover expressed hope that she has turned a new leaf. “I hope so. I don’t see why not,” he said, adding that he’d love to see her back on Southern Charm in the future, despite her announcement about leaving after season 8.
“I believe there’s a way back,” he commented. “If she’s willing to put in the work, we’ll always have a space for her. It wouldn’t feel right without Kathryn.”
The new season of Southern Charm is set to premiere this Wednesday, November 19th, at 9 PM ET/PT, while Bravo will air its show tonight at the same time.
