Week 12 survival pool guide: Selections, insights, tactics

In Week 11, the biggest favorites all came through, setting the stage for another exciting day of football.

As Week 12 approaches, only 939 entries remain in the main Circa Sports survivor pool, which is valued at $18.7 million. With some significant double-digit spreads this week, there are a few teams you might want to consider.

It’s crucial to be discerning. You don’t want to pick an entrant that could be overshadowed by the larger favorites, based on how the spreads look right now.

Week 12 Survivor Guide Reliability

Trust Level Team
1 Lions (-10.5) vs Giants
2 Seahawks (-13.5) @ Titans
3 Ravens (-13.5) vs. Jets
4 Patriots (-7.5) @ Bengals
5 49ers (-7) vs. Panthers
6 Raiders (-3.5) vs. Browns
7 Eagles (-3.5) @ Cowboys
8 Rams (-6.5) vs. Buccaneers
9 Packers (-6.5) vs. Vikings
10 Jaguars (-2.5) @ Cardinals

Lions (-10.5) vs. Giants

The Giants have a knack for losing games they should win. Enter the Lions, who thrive against less competitive teams.

This line suggests that Jackson Dart is unlikely to play, which could affect the game significantly.

If Dart is out, the Lions become a prime candidate for Survivor picks this week.

Looking ahead, it seems unlikely that the Lions will be a choice later in the season as they face stronger opponents like the Packers and Cowboys.

Ravens (-13.5) vs. Jets

I have to say, I prefer Tyrod Taylor over Justin Fields. Honestly, the Ravens aren’t playing their best football, and their defense is underwhelming.

I’m hesitant to trust them, despite them being 13.5-point favorites. If Joe Burrow remains sidelined, using them next week against the Bengals might be more strategic.

Raiders (-3.5) vs. Browns

Last week, Shedeur had what I can only describe as a disastrous showing—possibly the worst I’ve ever seen in years.

The Raiders’ defense had its struggles against the Cowboys but seems to have rebounded.

But Cleveland’s defense isn’t enough to support an offense that’s stagnant. If Sanders is under center, Las Vegas should secure a comfortable victory.
