Best 75 fantasy football PPR running backs for Week 12

Week 12 is here! It might be a bit bumpy since four teams, including standout Devon Ashen, have byes, but don’t worry too much. Below are the PPR running back rankings for this week.

The teams sitting out are:

  • Denver Broncos
  • Los Angeles Chargers
  • Washington Commanders
  • Miami Dolphins

As for the running backs, we have:

  • RJ Harvey
  • Kimani Vidal
  • Chris Rodriguez
  • Devon Ashen

Kenneth Gainwell, Steelers at Bears

Gainwell has had quite a solid season, just behind Jalen Warren. Although he missed a significant part of last week’s game against the Bengals, he managed nine rushes for 24 yards and snatched up seven of eight passes for 81 yards with two touchdowns. Warren seemed hopeful about his health after the game, but it’s always hard to tell. It wouldn’t surprise me if he takes it easy this week, giving Gainwell a great chance to shine against a weaker defense.

Josh Jacobs, Raiders

Jacobs sat out Week 11 due to a knee contusion. Luckily, it seems like no serious damage was done, but he could still miss this week’s game against the Vikings. If that happens, Emmanuel Wilson would be the one stepping up.

Jalen Warren, Steelers

Warren didn’t play in Week 11 due to an ankle injury, but he mentioned he felt he could have returned. If he’s not ready this week, Kenny Gainwell is set to have a solid start against the Bears.

Snoop Conner, Jaguars

Conner twisted his ankle during Week 11’s blowout against the Chargers, and didn’t come back. He shared the field with Travis Etienne and had a notable performance, rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown. He still has a lot to learn, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he sat out this week against the Cardinals.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots

Stevenson has been sidelined for three games due to a toe injury, so his status for this week is unclear. Treveyon Henderson has been getting more opportunities in his absence. If Stevenson returns, he may not regain his leading role immediately, as Henderson’s presence is increasing.

Benson, Colts

Benson suffered a meniscus injury in Week 4 and underwent arthroscopic surgery. His return timeframe was estimated at four to six weeks, but it looks like he may need more time off. The team lacks lead backs without him, leaving various players to share the workload.

Omarion Hampton, Chargers

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh mentioned that Hampton is not expected to return until after their Week 12 bye. We’ll see if that prediction holds true.

Sean Tucker and Rashard White, Bucs

Irving has been out for six games dealing with shoulder and ankle injuries, but he’s back in practice and may play this week. Tucker had a great game recently, and White has shown promise in Irving’s absence. I suppose Irving might reclaim his top spot, though there could be a slight adjustment period.

Isiah Pacheco, Chiefs

Pacheco ended up with a knee injury late in Week 8 during a game against the Commanders, suffering an MCL sprain. He was off the field for three weeks, but fingers crossed for his return this week.
