Passenger yells at employee following flight delay in Southwest incident

Passengers erupted in chaos at a Denver airport as a video captured their frustration over a delayed and overbooked Southwest Airlines flight.

In the footage shared on TikTok by Taylor Graboyes, a young woman was seen crying and shouting for staff to be fired amid the uproar. She was clearly agitated during her confrontation at Denver International Airport.

“Are you all feeling safe?” a passenger called out from the restroom while recording the scene, directing attention to the bewildered employees.

The woman, dressed in white sweatpants and a green crop top, directed her anger at a gate agent, repeatedly asking, “How can you treat me like this?”

As the employee appeared shaken, she pressed on, demanding to know why there was a delay, scoffing as he responded. Her question, “Why aren’t we riding?” sparked amusement among commenters, with some suggesting her phrasing sounded oddly archaic.

In a strange twist, she also insisted that someone “come and get it,” claiming she was fired and intended to sue the agent.

Reportedly, the confrontation arose after passengers were informed they couldn’t board because the plane was already full, a common practice when airlines oversell tickets.

The distressed woman continued to express disbelief, “Are you saying I can’t ride now? I was wondering why it was so slow,” as she grew increasingly agitated.

Witnesses reported it took airport security about thirty minutes to arrive and escort her away, which drew cheers from her fellow passengers.

After the incident, Graboyes remarked that she found the airline employee visibly upset following the altercation.

In a follow-up, she noted that the woman appeared to be in tears when she checked on her, feeling a sense of sickness over the whole scene.

However, online reactions displayed little sympathy for the woman’s breakdown. Some commenters questioned her experience with flight delays and reminded others that airports are places where appropriate behavior is expected.

Both Southwest Airlines and Denver Airlines were contacted for additional details regarding this incident.
