Kylie Kelce responds to allegations about naming her daughters with 'boy names'

Jason Kelce and Kylie Talk Parenting Choices

Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce has four daughters with his wife, Kylie. Recently, the Super Bowl champion shared some thoughts about raising their daughters.

Kylie has been open about their family life, but this transparency hasn’t come without some criticism from online observers. They often express unsolicited opinions, and that’s something she has noticed, especially regarding their children’s names.

On her podcast, “I won’t lie,” Kylie addressed questions surrounding the names of their daughters, which some have described as “boy names.” She found these comments to be somewhat unjustified.

“It seems like pure anger fodder: ‘What happened to the boys’ names?'” Kylie responded. “My husband and I simply liked gender-neutral names for our daughters.” Their daughters are named Wyatt, who is six; Elliot, four; Bennett, two; and Finn, who is just seven months old. Kylie mentioned that they chose the name Wyatt before they knew our child’s gender.

She emphasized that their choices were made without seeking public approval. “I haven’t asked anyone what they think of my child’s name. My husband and I agree on these names, and we like them. Honestly, naming a child is not easy,” she added.

In a recent episode of the podcast “New Heights,” which Jason co-hosts with his brother Travis Kelce, he reflected on how well he and Kylie manage disciplinary decisions with their children. “We’re almost always on the same page,” Jason shared, highlighting their shared values in parenting.

He also reminisced about the moment he became a father. “When I found out I had Wyatt, I thought, ‘I’m going to raise her to be tough and disciplined.’ I didn’t want to be that dad who indulges her,” he explained. But as soon as she arrived, he found it incredibly challenging not to succumb to the role of the doting father.
