Meghan recently shared in her newsletter, As Ever, that she’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving by cooking a turkey at home.
The Duchess of Sussex provided a glimpse into her Thanksgiving plans in a newsletter released on Thursday. At 44, Markle mentioned she would be preparing the meal for Prince Harry and some friends in Montecito, California.
“Whenever I look around my home and see my husband, kids, family, and dear friends—while also managing the turkey and the joys that come with hosting—I feel extremely grateful,” she wrote.
“I hope you have a Thanksgiving filled with warmth and joy,” she added.
Markle also expressed appreciation for her subscribers who have engaged with the As Ever products. She thanked them, saying, “We’re so grateful for the kindness and support we’ve received throughout the year as our collection has found a place in your homes.”
“You’ve welcomed us into your everyday life—whether it’s the jam you put on toast, the honey in your tea, the candle that brightens your day, or the wine you savor while toasting someone special,” she mentioned.
Markle also highlighted her recent pop-up shop for As Ever, posting on Instagram how significant it is for her, especially since it’s in West Hollywood, a place filled with memories for her.
“This is such a full-circle moment for me! I have so many memories tied to this neighborhood, including my first date with Harry, which happened at SH Restaurant,” she wrote.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, she and Harry, along with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, volunteered at Our Big Kitchen in Los Angeles. They prepared and packaged meals for locals in need.
Photos from the event were shared on the Archewell website, capturing a tender moment of the family working together in the kitchen.
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Markle spoke about the support she receives from Harry, expressing love for him “unaudaciously.” She mentioned, “No one loves me more than he does, so I know I can always count on him.” She acknowledged that they navigate different media landscapes, giving each of them a unique outlook.
Markle reflected on the playfulness Harry brings into their lives, saying, “He has this childlike sense of wonder, and it’s something I’m really drawn to. It influences every aspect of our lives, including our business ethos, which encourages fun and creativity.”
