Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s Thanksgiving Reunion

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker came together for Thanksgiving, just after Burruss made headlines by announcing their divorce.

Burruss shared a group photo on Instagram, showcasing a large family gathering. The image included Burruss, her 23-year-old daughter Riley, Tucker’s 29-year-old daughter Kaela, along with their own kids, 9-year-old Ace and 6-year-old Blaze.

In her post, she wrote, “Happy Thanksgiving! I really enjoyed the day with my family. I hope you enjoy it! I’m as full as a turkey right now and I just want to lie down,” which gave a glimpse into her festive mood.

Though Todd was missing from the picture, Kandi clarified, “Before anyone could imagine, Todd was there first to eat with us, but he wasn’t there to take pictures. He wasn’t an outcast.”

While many fans applauded Kandi for ensuring Todd’s presence on the special day, some felt she didn’t need to justify his absence from the photo.

The couple revealed last week that they are separating after more than a decade of marriage. Kandi expressed in a statement, “After much thought and much prayer, I have made the decision to proceed with divorce. These are difficult and emotional times, but my focus remains on maintaining my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”

Commenters noticed Todd’s absence in the photo and speculated that he wasn’t celebrating with the family.

Kandi shared her feelings about the separation a few days afterward during an Amazon Live session, noting that it had been “brewing for a while.” She described her emotions as “highs and lows,” feeling “all over the place” and experiencing “moments of sadness.”

Despite the challenges, Kandi emphasized her and Todd’s commitment to prioritizing their children as they transition, noting that they are managing things amicably.

While Todd hasn’t made a public statement regarding the divorce, he did mention in a recent comment on Instagram that he is “dealing with a lot.”
