Simone Biles Celebrates Arrival in Philadelphia for Bears-Eagles Game
Simone Biles was buzzing with excitement as she flew into Philadelphia on Thanksgiving Day, ready for the Black Friday clash between the Bears and the defending Super Bowl champions, the Eagles.
The 11-time Olympic medalist, who’s married to Chicago safety officer Jonathan Owens, greeted the day with a playful display, holding a bottle of tequila and even doing the splits as she stepped off the plane, which was decked out with balloons featuring her husband’s jersey number, 36. “Who’s ready for Black Friday Football!!!!” she enthusiastically posted.
On the flight, Biles and her friends kicked off the festivities with a champagne toast, sharing moments of their celebration on her Instagram Story. She sported a cozy outfit, featuring a black down jacket paired with leggings and sneakers, which seems pretty fitting for a game day.
In a sweet moment captured on social media, Biles and Owens shared a kiss on the sidelines before the Bears secured a 31-28 victory against the Steelers the previous Sunday. Biles and Owens, who started dating via a dating app back in 2020, are marking their second wedding anniversary this April. Owens recently signed a two-year deal with the Bears in March, which must bring some excitement to their lives.
As for the game on Friday, both the Bears and Eagles come in with 8-3 records, and they’ll be clashing at 3:00 pm ET at Lincoln Financial Field. Unfortunately, Chicago cornerbacks Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are now on injured reserve ahead of this key matchup.
Meanwhile, the Eagles will welcome back wide receiver DeVonta Smith, who had missed practice earlier in the week due to some injuries and illness. The game could be a real showdown, adding to the already festive spirit of the day.
