Idaho bar provides complimentary beer for assisting in the deportation of undocumented immigrants

Idaho Saloon Offers Free Beer for Help with Immigration Enforcement

At a local tavern in Idaho, a social media post sparked buzz among patrons. The Old State Saloon announced they would provide free beer to anyone who assists Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in tracking down and deporting illegal immigrants.

On Saturday, the tavern shared on X that, “Anyone who helps ICE identify and ultimately deport illegal aliens from the state of Idaho will receive free beer at their establishment for one month.” They further added, somewhat dramatically, that if several illegal immigrants are successfully deported, a single person might enjoy multiple months of complimentary drinks.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) amplified this post with a surprised reaction, using a GIF. Following that, a supporter chimed in with enthusiasm, saying, “Let’s go! Deport them all!”

One individual suggested that the saloon should establish a leaderboard to honor a “deporter of the year,” who could earn an extra free beer at year-end. It’s a quirky thought, right?

Interestingly, Ryan Spoon, vice-chairman of the Republican Central Committee of Ada County, Idaho, has already been recognized for his efforts in cooperating with ICE. The saloon promised him a free beer from one of their 20 draft options once he provides proof of an arrest assistance.

In related news, conservative Gen Z influencer Beau Loudon praised the saloon’s initiative, calling it “an incredible idea” and expressing his love for America.

However, the bar’s announcement hasn’t been universally accepted. While some praised the initiative, others voiced concerns, calling for the establishment to be boycotted. The bar responded by posting a negative review on Google, stating that negative ratings come from “losers on the left.”

In the context of the broader cultural conversation, it’s worth noting that the saloon recently coined the term “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month” as a counter to Pride Month. Owner Mark Fitzpatrick mentioned discounted beers for straight patrons during this period.

The saloon also offers merchandise on its website, including shirts with the slogan “Make America Straight Again,” reflecting its unabashed stance on various social issues. I mean, it’s certainly more than just a place to grab a drink.

As of now, DHS hasn’t commented on this rather unusual promotion.
